1. Does the school have a school zone and, if so, what is it?
All schools are zoned in what are referred to as catchment areas. Clearwater Bay School's catchment area includes all of Clearwater Bay and Tseung Kwan O. It also includes part of Sai Kung beginning at, and including, Choi Hung and ending at Sai Kung West Country Park. It does not include any address off Sai Sha Road north of the Tai Mong Tsai Roundabout.
2. What are the school fees?
For the current year the annual fees for a place in an ESF primary school are HK$58,100, paid over ten months. New students are required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit, as an advance payment towards the first term's fees, at the time a place in school is accepted. The amount of the deposit is currently HK$10,000 for a primary school place. If you have any enquiries about fees or deposits please contact ESF on 2919-7952, 2919-7911 or 2919-7950.
3. Do we have to pay a debenture?
No debenture is required for ESF schools.
4. What is the language spoken in school and what languages are taught to children?
The majority of our children are native English speakers. All of the curriculum is taught in English. Modern Chinese is taught to children in all year groups.
5. Does the school link in with other ESF schools?
Yes, we are part of the ESF family of schools. Pupils at the end of Primary School either transfer to King George V (KGV) or Sha Tin College depending on what part of our catchment area they live in.
6. Are there school buses servicing the school?
Yes. The buses are organised by parents of children within the school. These bus routes cover the school catchment area.
