Learning
The Learning Environment
Learning at Clearwater Bay School reflects our awareness of the individual needs of each student. Pupils are encouraged to see themselves as responsible and active learners in the education process.
The school's curriculum takes into account contemporary developments in learning and focuses on the needs of students to create possibilities for them within a broad international context.
At Clearwater Bay School, we strive to develop active learners who have initiative, imagination and a capacity for commitment.
Enrichment of Learning
Many pupils at Clearwater Bay School have the ability, potential and need to reach beyond the traditional curriculum. In Primary 4, 5, and 6, these pupils are offered a range of options for enrichment, enhancement and extension.
The Learning Partnership
Clearwater Bay School is home to a lively community in which pupils and teachers work together as partners. The teaching staff at Clearwater Bay School are creative, dedicated individuals, with a commitment to their on-going professional development as educators.
The partnership between pupils and teachers is enhanced by the link between parents and school. This is based on an unqualified respect for the role of parents as first educators of our pupils, and is developed through the role of parents as supporters of the school and its staff.
